Advanced Sleep Management Clinical Team

The clinical team is integral to the management of the sleep center, combining administrative oversight with direct clinical responsibilities to ensure effective operation, high-quality patient care, and cohesive team collaboration.

Jana Perrin, RPSGT

Regional Lab Manager at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). Jana’s career in Sleep Medicine spans over two decades, starting with her certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) in 2008. She has held various positions including Sleep Technologist and Clinical Coordinator, accumulating rich experience in patient care, administrative duties, research testing, and managing Durable Medical Equipment (DME). At ASM, Jana oversees several key areas such as staffing, clinical efficiencies, and maintaining high-quality standards. Her leadership extends beyond ASM; she is actively involved in professional organizations like the American Academy of Sleep Technologists (AAST) where she serves as the Vice-Chair of the Education Committee. Additionally, she is a proud member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and a delegate of the World Sleep Society. Jana loves spending time with her two children and three fur babies.

Lisa M. Bond, RPSGT

Director of Scoring Services at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). She joined the ASM family in 2012. Lisa has been dedicated to healthcare since the late 1980’s, specializing in Sleep Medicine since the early 1990’s. She has held diverse roles including acquisition tech, lab manager, instructor, BRPT item writer, and contributing writer / author. Lisa’s contributions have been recognized with the American Academy of Sleep Technologists (AAST) 2014 Sharon A. Keenan award for sleep technology education and the 2015 AAST Service Award. Named a Fellow of the American Association of Sleep Technologists in 2022, she actively serves on AAST committees and advocates for patient care and sleep technology education.

D. Corey Mettler, RPSGT

Sleep Lab Manager at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM), bringing over 20 years of experience to the role. He joined the ASM family in 2012. Graduating from Indiana University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy, Corey obtained his RPSGT certification in 2007. His career began as a sleep technologist at St. Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, Indiana, followed by positions at Orion Sleep in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and MD Sleep in Carmel, Indiana. At MD Sleep, Corey played a key role in setting up new sleep labs and training employees across multiple locations nationwide. Currently, Corey oversees sleep center operations at Marion Health in Marion, Indiana. In his free time, Corey enjoys various outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, hiking, and hunting.

Lindsay Thomas, RPSGT

Lead Day Shift Sleep Technologist at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). Lindsay joined the ASM family in 2013. Lindsay has worked in the Sleep Medicine field for 22+ years. Her employment has encompassed both nighttime and daytime clinical responsibilities. Lindsay has experience with Attended Overnight Sleep Testing, Home Sleep Testing, Multiple Sleep Latency Testing, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and mask fittings. In her free time Lindsay enjoys tending to her ever-growing garden and cuddling with her fur babies.

Jan Giamfortone, RPSGT

Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT) Lead Sleep Technologist at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). Jan joined the ASM family in 2019. She is responsible for overseeing the company’s HSAT program. Jan graduated from Collin College polysomnography program with Associates of Applied Science Degree and has been accepted into the bachelor’s program.  Jan values spending time with patients and providing thorough sleep education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four-legged baby, Buffy.

Thuyduyen Nguyen, RPSGT

Lead Technologist at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). Thuy’s career in Sleep Medicine began after graduating as an RPSGT from Collin College in 2017. Her journey highlights her dedication and expertise in Sleep Medicine. At ASM, Thuyduyen has excelled in conducting overnight sleep studies, home sleep studies, and multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT). She’s also involved with innovative treatments such as Inspire therapy, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field. Beyond her clinical role, Thuyduyen actively contributes to research, enhancing understanding of sleep disorders and treatments. Outside of work, she nurtures her adventurous spirit through travel, embracing new cultures and experiences.

Melissa Colbert, RPSGT

Nighttime Clinical Supervisor at Advanced Sleep Management (ASM). Melissa joined the ASM family in 2021. She has worked in the Sleep Medicine field for 25+ years. Melissa began her career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Tulsa, Ok. She carries professional experience at both independent and hospital-based Sleep Centers. Melissa possesses a great passion for patient care and advocacy.
